Hello,

My name is Adam and I am a new contributor to this blog. Tim has kindly allowed me to post my rants on here. In my posts I won’t beat around the bush – I’ll tell it how it is and I think you’ll find my comments both thorough and unique. I won’t leave any stone unturned. At least that’s the idea.

Yes, like Tim, I am a Vegan and have been for over 12 years. Believe it or not, I’m just as passionate about Veganism today as I was 12 years ago. That is because my motivation isn’t being cool, following fashion, being rebellious or following a health kick. My motivation for being a vegan has and always will be ethics.

If doing the right thing matters to you than the logical conclusion is: Veganism.

In my posts I intend to prove to you that killing sentient animals for any reason, other than self defence, is murder.

Pearl the White Deer

Pearl the White Deer

Pearl is a rare genetic throwback with a white coat whilst not being an albino.
Discovered in the Scottish lowlands, Pearl possibly only the third deer of this kind since the second World War.
Whilst most of us would view Pearl as a curiosity amongst her kind she is instead being treated as a prize and a target.
The hunter who discovered her is auctioning off the right to kill her.

Clearly the rights and intrinsic value of Pearls entire species have been overlooked in their hunting, if we had any right to assert that their population needed to be controlled due to their damage to the environment surrounding them (because humans protect the environment ?!?!) then sterilisation would be the most humane solution.
Humans have however, never consistently treated human and nonhuman animals according to their value to the environment, if we did the human animal would no longer exist.

Hi everyone , I’m Tim, the main contributor to the blog (for now) .
The aim of the blog is to collect news and viewpoints on stories from mainstream news on topics that involve animal rights or the current exploitation of animals.
I’m an Abolitionist Vegan from Melbourne in Australia, married to a lovely wife of the same perspective and with a handful of friends out here who share the viewpoint and ethics.
For information and resources I will also link to other sites that have exceptional vegan products available and also other blogs with great recipes but the bulk of the posts will be responses to the media and day to day musings from myself and some friends (once we get this all up and running !)
